How the tables have turned. Most of you know there's been a battle for flight paths in Aurora. For those that don't this is a battle that developers and home owners have been waging with DIA for years as most people don't want to live in areas that are constantly full of loud jet engines over their homes and Aurora has been in a legal battle over noise complaints 4 MILES from the airport. The simple solution is don't buy a home there. Of course that's tough to do when housing is expensive every where else. To help that problem, a developer was trying to build new homes and apartments near DIA, like really NEAR DIA. The plan is to put the new housing a half mile away from a new runway proposed for DIA. If you thought it was loud 4 miles way, I can only imagine what noise you'll get 2500 feet away. Hopefully common sense prevails and there's a new spot planned for the housing development, because DUH
