This is AMAZING! Two time Super Bowl Champ, and Broncos legend Ed McCaffery is joining the UNC Bears as the new head football coach. This comes of course after UNC fired Ernest Collins Jr back in November.
Ed is no stranger to coaching as he's led a very successful program at Valor Christian High School for the last two years. There he helped lead the Eagles to a state championship in his first year there. Overall his record was 26-2 so that speaks pretty highly of his ability to coach. When you factor that in with him being a Broncos legend, then it should be an attractive place for young recruits to come play, and hopefully restore the UNC Bears back to full glory in Division 1 football.
