Be mindful of the powder your skiing on in the high country. 4 skiers at Lizard Head Pass learned that lesson the hard way when they triggered an Avalanche on New Year's Eve burying on person up to the waist and another up to the neck. Fortunately the group was able to get out of the slide without any injuries.
