Colorado Man has a tornado proof vehicle

Ryan Shepard of Greeley has a pretty unique way to track weather patterns in Colorado, and it's with a vehicle called a Tornado Intercept Vehicle or TIV for short. The TIV is build on the frame of a Dodge Ram 3500 truck, weighs 14,000 with steel armor that's two inches thick, bulletproof glass and has a 90 gallon gas tank so Shepard can drive through tornado alley without stopping, or hopefully taking a massive pounding. There's also special hydraulics and safety features built into the truck to keep it from becoming less of a truck and more of a air vehicle during those massive tornadoes. This thing honestly looks more like something from Batman than the movie Twister but hopefully it helps him catch some cool information with how tornadoes work this summer.
