Trying to sell your car? Beware of fake cash scams in Colorado

There could be a new scam going around that ties into used car sales. Aisha Carter tried to sell an older vehicle to Colorado Junk Cars and the company gave her fake cash. Aisha says the $20 bill was real, but when she tried to spend the hundreds a local Wal-Mart told them they were "movie money" or props used in Hollywood films that are meant to look authentic. This could have been an honest mistake by the company but it seems pretty shady that no one can actually FIND this company now or anyone that works for them. Even their website gives you a time out error if you visit them. So, maybe research the best deals and the used car buyer before you decide to sell. Also DOUBLE check if it's a cash transaction. I'm hoping someone eventually comes forward and helps Aisha out.
