A High Speed Train May (Finally) Be Coming To The Front Range!

We've heard talk of a high speed train being built along the Front Range for years, but now Amtrak is saying it could be a reality within 15 years. Last month President Biden unveiled his $2 trillion infrastructure proposal with $80 billion dollars of that going to Amtrak for upgrades and additions. Even without the federal infrastructure package which would speed along the process, Amtrak is still planning to build the train which would operate from Pueblo, CO to Cheyenne, WY and would make stops in Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins. Read more and see the proposed map here.

Being able to get to Pueblo from Cheyenne in less than an hour would be pretty great. Just imagine, no more sitting in traffic on I-25!
