Dog Thrown From Moving Car In Jefferson County

Seriously, what kind of person does this?? A small dog was thrown from a moving vehicle on I-76 earlier this week. The miniature poodle, who was in critical condition when it arrived at Foothills Animal Shelter, has since passed away. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is trying to find the person responsible. They say the incident happened at about 1:45p on Tuesday on eastbound I-76 just before Sheridan Boulevard. The dog appeared to have been deliberately thrown out of the black Lexus sedan. If you have any information about who might be responsible please contact Jefferson County Animal Control by calling 303-271-5070. Read more here.
